Subduction features a visual rhythm of beach, cliffside, and ocean, all filmed at Northern California’s Point Reyes National Seashore. This film is set to a hypnotic soundtrack of waves rolling against the shore. Dreamlike and often in silhouette, a dog interjects itself throughout the montage, running into frame or making its presence known on the audio track.
