Aluminum pail, clothesline, and whittled stick
Installation dimensions variable

A pail, a Y-branch, and a 100' long white cotton clothesline are arranged to evoke an archetypical rabbit trap.

The Y-branch has been whittled with a knife to look like the perfect example out of a Boy Scout handbook; the clothesline is attached at one end to the Y-branch via a square knot. When the work is displayed, this line is pulled taut. The line floats off the ground for several feet from the bucket due to tension. As it gets further from the pail, the line eventually sags to the floor, turning, ending in a circular coil.
