Multiple contour studies of a female model seated, leaning, and standing successively drawn in hard Austrian charcoal, rubbed out with a chamois, and then layered on top of each other. A gesture of the same model standing has been applied in a softer grade of Austrian charcoal as a final layer to this drawing.
