This is an early Last Rocket drawing. The fuselage consists of shapes borrowed from intercontinental ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads. Long, articulated feathers lend softness to the wings. The drawing technique here is one of labored erasure, driving graphite into the vellum with repeated application.
