Last Rocket Arrangements

The Last Rocket Arrangements grew out of a series of drawings, imagining mythical winged rockets. These represent the last rocket that will ever be launched by the human species, be it ascendent or apocalyptic. Each temporary sculpture turn trash and plant matter into four specific parts: a fuselage, a nose cone, an engine, and a pair of wings.

Like paleontological specimens, each Last Rocket reflects the environment that spawned it, offering clues to the inhabitants of its space.

This is an ongoing project, with over a hundred entries produced over the years.
