Oil and acrylic on canvas
Diptych; each panel 20" x 94" x 8.5”
This diptych comprises Topographic Painting no. 4, the final painting of this series. The mountain forms of this painting rise proportionately higher than any other painting in the series, evoking a young, coarse mountain range. Flows of clear gel media fill many of the valleys between these peaks. Deliberate cartographic lines of black paint wend through the upper quadrant of the left canvas.
